Hampton Love
INSTEAD of furnishing their East Hampton, N.Y., house with the overstuffed sofas and antiques favored by so many of their neighbors, Russell Groves, 45, and Neal Beckstedt, 32, took a different approach… and I love it.

Brigitte Bardot and the Original Paparazzi. An exhibition of rare original vintage photographs 03.09.2009 – 03.10.2009
Coinciding with the 75th Birthday of Brigitte Bardot on 28th September 2009, James Hyman Gallery presents an exhibition of 75 vintage photographs by some of the most famous paparazzi photographers. Presented at the same time as London Fashion Week (18-22 September) Brigitte Bardot and the Original Paparazzi focuses on one of the greatest fashion icons of the twentieth century.
The exhibition includes iconic images as well as rare works that have never been exhibited or published.

The Revivalist or why Chesterfield is still cool

These chairs will be featured among others in “The Revivalists”, an exhibition curated by design expert Max Fraser at Contemporary Applied Arts in London, which collects work from designers who manipulate, appropriate and incorporate older design pieces in their work.

A little home town glory
0300tv gives us a tour of Basel’s St. Jakob Park. Designed by hometown architectual heroes Herzog & De Meuron and completed in 2001, the structure includes a football stadium and commercial space.
